Bordeaux tradition is a famous Wine Merchant created in 1983 by Ivan Cruze. It is know a company with a young and dynamic direction represented by Frédéric Bernard (left) and Frédéric Martin (right).

They represent small wines but although some of the best classified growth of the Bordeaux terroir.

Domaine de Chevalier
The Domaine de Chevalier, located in Léognan, the capital town of the Graves region, has a long history.
In 1983, the estate was purchased by the Bernard family, N° 1 in France on the spirits market and a major négociant of premium Bordeaux wines. It has been run ever since by Olivier Bernard. In line with the historyof Chevalier, he perpetuates that spirit of balance and the constant drive for perfection which, over the last 130 years, have been the hallmark of this outstanding wine.
The red Domaine de Chevalier, the flagship of the Pessac Léognan appellation, belongs to the elite of the great classified growths of Bordeaux.
The passion of Olivier Bernard make this wine a flagship for the Bernard group over the world and increase years after years in quality as the wines age although
Esprit de Chevalier
Since 1986, the planting of young vines required the assembly of a second wine of Domaine
de Chevalier in red and white. It is named The Esprit de Chevalier. Each plot is the area
harvested and worked with the same care. Only when the assembly after optimization of the
vinification of each vessel, theEsprit de Chevalier is a seductive wine, probably appreciate more
quickly than the Range. Next vintages, the greater or lesser wine press gives it its power but
also its long finish.
We currently find the 2004 vintage in china which should be replaced prety soon by the 2007 vintage.
This wine is to be kept around 10 years and to be openned 30 minutes before the tasting to offer its best quality in tasting and aromas
Dauphin de Guiraud
The “Second Wine” of Château Guiraud 1st great growth is Le Dauphin De Guiraud.
It follows the same hardly features of process than the first wine.
It comes from our 85 ha of Sauternes appellation.
The 2004 production for this wine is about 41.000 bottles.
It is produced from young vine and from a tasting choice at the blending moment.

Chateau Laffitte Laujac
This estate produces Cru Bourgeois : The closeness to the Gironde estuary and the Atlantic Ocean creates a microclimate which is noticeable for the vineyard and the maturation of the grapes.
Eric Boissenot has been the oenologist of Château Laffite Laujac since the 2003 vintage. Renowned for producing traditional but fine wines, this famous oenologist has become one of the specialist of Médoc wines by giving precious advice to the biggest such as Château Peyrabon, Château Pichon Longueville Baron or Château d’Issan.
The wines are very elegant and full fruit, lively, strong, pleasant and well structured, the result of a judicious balance with the ageing period necessary for their blooming.
Chateau laffitte Laujac is one of the best seller of French Wine Paradox in China. Its quality has been accepted by chinese consumers
Château Le Menaudat, situated on clayey limestone soil on the hills of the Premières Côtes de Blaye, opposite the famous vineyards in Pauillac, is 15 hectares in size. Annual production comes to about 100 tuns of a velvety and delicate wine. This property has been in the hands of Mme Edouard Cruse’s family for over a hundred years. You find it mentionned among the best growths in the Premières Côtes de Blaye as far as the 1868 edition of Bordeaux .
Since 2009, the Cotes de Blaye appelation has been erased and the Chateau Le Menaudat will be know as a Cotes de Bordeaux
This is a special cuvee named cuvee reservee that Bordeaux Tradition is exporting to FWP.
Chateau Pontet Barrail
Château Pontet Barrail is located in Begadan. The estate belonged to Bibey family since 1970. Wines have a very beautiful colour, they are fruity, long and elegant thanks to the significant part of cabernet sauvignon that give to the wines the typical nature of the Medoc. Bibey family knew full well make great wines like his renowned neighbours of La Tour de By. The son of Yves, Jérôme, arrived in 2002 and contributed to ameliorate the quality of wines. The secret : a density of plantation in harmony with the local soil (5000 grape-plants/ha), the yield is controlled (fewer 50 hL/ha), a narrow work in the wine harvest, and a fermenting cellar great adapted.
The design of the label of Ponet Barrail has been changed for the foreign markets but will stay put in china.
This yellow label offer a better recognition of the wines in the shelfs

Chateau Marot Bellevue
The vineyard of Château Marot Bellevue was bought by the father of Mister Alain Courgeau in 1950, owner and Mayor of the commune of Soussac. The property is situated on the commune of Soussac. Mister Courgeau started with 10 hectares of white grapes, than started in 1972 to restructure the vineyard planting Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. He is today the owner of a surface area of 14 hectares in red and 6 hectares in white. This property is provided with a sophisticate equipment for the wine making which product wines of a great quality, thanks to the care brings to the grape.
The Chateau Marot Bellevue label offer the design very close to the great classified growth.
This wine is aged in oak barrel
The ageing can go over ten years
It is exported mostly in China and although dedicated to a market of connaisseurs in France.
Chateau Bujeau Lagrave
The vineyard of château Bujeau La Grave covers 22 hectares and is located in Saint-Laurent du Bois closed to the prestigious vineyard of Château Thieuley. The vineyard is situated on table-lands and undulating slopes clayey and limestone. He has a great exposure. The estate has belonged to Réaut family for many generations. Bujeau La Grave is managed by Claude Réaut. The grappe variety is composed by Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. We select this wine for the excellent quality/price ratio. The wine has almost a medal every year in Bordeaux, Paris, Macon. These wines have always an incredible colour, with beautiful tannins.
The Chateau Bujeau Lagrave is sold as the Chateau Marot Bellevue in the Bordeaux classification.
The average level of alcool in Bordeaux wines is between 12° and 14°.
The new world wines are usually going over 14°.
Château La Fleur Haut Rozier
Château Haut Rozier is located in the town of Tayac near Lussac and belongs to the Laporte family for three generations. The vineyard is now run by Ms. Pujol, daughter of Mr. Laporte. The vinification is followed by the highly acclaimed winemaker: Mr. Fakorellis and in a traditional manner. The winery is equipped with stainless steel tanks and concrete tanks. The wine product bears the appellation Cotes de Franc Bordeaux and its character is closer to wine appellations of St Emilion satellites.
