Here comes a new delightful tasting at The House of Roosevelt co-hosted by French Wine Paradox.
Created in 2008 by famous wine company Wineo, Montagur aims at bringing the best of Bordeaux wines to China. It reflects the producers’ know-how and their respect of long standing traditions.
5 wines will be tasted during the evening:
Montagur Pomerol 2007: With its beautiful carmine, its tile glint and smart flavor, the Montagur Pomerol expresses slightly spicy notes and reveals some dry fruits savor. Marked by a firm first taste, it also displays round tannins which confer it its soft consistence. Combining strength for long lasting and smoothness, this wine can be drunk young as well as kept for the future.
Montagur Saint-Emilion 2007: With beautiful dark red color and wine legs, Montagur St Emilion Grand Cru is characterized by a frank tannic approach and good amplitude. Fruity and slightly spicy, it presents a smooth and rich final note.
Montagur Haut-Médoc 2008: The Montagur Haut-Médoc is very well located in the famous ‘terroir’ of the villages of Listrac and Moulis. Smouth and fruity wines are produced, with the typical fineness of all the Médoc wines.
Montagur Graves 2008: A nice and deep ruby-red coloured wine, with very long legs. Complex perfumes of red fruits, tobacco and mushrooms. Full-bodied and long-lasting with fine tannins, this wine is ideal with grilled meats.
Montagur Sauternes 2008: With its light gold color, the Montagur’s Sauternes symbolizes gold in bottles and the natural nectar that is only produced in this area within the region of Bordeaux. The citrus fruits nose, the softness and the length in mouth, the tangy of orange peels and almonds make this wine one of the great classics of the appellation.
